Privacy Policy

ScreenCheck is built with privacy as a first-class requirement, not an afterthought. The short version: we collect nothing about you because we designed the system so there is nothing to collect.

Summary

  • ✓ No personal data collected
  • ✓ No cookies set
  • ✓ No third-party analytics
  • ✓ No accounts or login required
  • ✓ All data stays on your device

No Data Collection

ScreenCheck does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not log your IP address, browser fingerprint, hardware specifications, or any usage analytics.

No Cookies

ScreenCheck uses no tracking cookies, session cookies, or third-party cookies of any kind. Your browser may store user preferences (theme, preset configurations) in localStorage — this data never leaves your device.

No Analytics

There are no third-party analytics scripts on ScreenCheck. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or any similar service. We have no record of what pages you visit or how long you stay.

No Accounts

ScreenCheck requires no account creation, no login, and no email address. Custom presets are saved entirely in your browser's localStorage and are never synchronized to any cloud or server.

Client-Side Only

All diagnostic tests run entirely within your browser using standard Web APIs. No screen capture, no hardware telemetry, and no display pixel data is ever processed outside of your own device.

localStorage Usage

ScreenCheck stores user-created custom test presets in your browser's localStorage under the key screencheck_custom_presets_v1. This data is entirely local to your device and browser. Clearing your browser storage will remove all saved presets. No server, cloud, or backup exists.
