Browser rendering output can be influenced by OS display scaling, GPU driver color settings, and active HDR profiles.

- Examine the inner squares inside each color bar: the delta steps down from +16 to +1.
- Observe where the inner square completely blends into the surrounding color.
- Distinguishing +2 or +1 indicates high color depth fidelity (true 8-bit or 10-bit processing).

How to Perform the Test
- Enter fullscreen mode.
- Look at each color row: from left to right, the inner square delta decreases from +16 to +1.
- Identify the smallest delta square your eyes can clearly distinguish from the outer block.
What to Look For
- Separating +1 or +2 indicates high panel bit-depth (true 8-bit or 10-bit processing).
- If inner squares blend into the background at +8, the display is quantizing color transitions.

Is this a Delta-E Test?
No. Delta-E is a colorimetric calculation based on physical optical readings. Browser software cannot measure physical photon emissions; this is a Digital Color Separation test measuring digital code resolution.
